Garden & Gun magazine is accepting entries for its Made in the South Awards through July 1. Southern-made products are eligible in the following areas: Food, Drink, Home, Style, Outdoors and Crafts. Through May 31, the entry fee of $75 is discounted to $50; entries close at midnight on July 1.

This is the twelfth annual celebration of the awards, which were founded in 2010. Judges include a four-time James Beard award winner, business owners and a sportsman and author. Previous winners include Opie Way handmade sneakers from Asheville, North Carolina, Georgia Jams Habenero Peach Spread, Julie Niell chandeliers out of New Orleans, Urban Asado Gaucho-Style Grill from Florida, Tip Top Proper Canned Cocktails in Atlanta and Civil Stoneware Hand-Thrown Tableware from Alabama.

Looks like it's time for a winner from the Sandlapper state!

There will be one overall winner who will receive $10,000, along with a first-place winner and three runners-up in each category. All winners will be featured in the magazine's December/January edition.

For entry forms, category descriptions, and rules, visit madeinthesouthawards.com. Winners will be notified in October.
